Boston Eating-Kickass Cupcakes

There is a week until I’m back in Boston.  Is it bad that the first thing I’m thinking of is what I’m going to eat?  One of the places that I’m looking forward to eating is Kickass Cupcakes.  While I only gave 3 stars on Yelp it’s because the cupcakes are a little dry and the frosting is a little overpowering.  But when it’s deep fried, do you really think I care?

My friends are always brought together when it comes to food.  Last year we did the quest for the deep fried cupcakes.  The deep fried cupcakes are normal cupcakes that are fried, put into a cone, drizzled with chocolate and whipped cream.  It’s warm and the whip cream is cold.  It’s a good combination of hot and cold but might be on the sweet side.  The unfortunate downfall for my friends was that they couldn’t choose the cupcake that was to be fried.

But now they’ve decided to try to make it better, A deep fried cupcake accompanied by soft serve ice cream.  I think as soon as I swallow my heart might explode but it’ll be worth it right?  The Deep Fried Cupcake Sundae kicks up the dish up a notch.

About akindafoodblog

I'm a picky foodie in training. I can't stop talking about food, so writing about it seems like a normal transition. There are so many foods I don't like, and that's a bit of a problem. I don't really know how to cook but I love to bake. So I'm on a culinary journey and I want to invite everyone to join me.
